Moron of the Day: James Caan

Well, maybe he's right on fact but this is still a fucking stupid reason to quit a job:
James Caan has left the political comedy "Nailed" after a dispute led him to storm off the set, and it all seems to have centered on a cookie.

The trouble started last Wednesday on the first of Caan's two days of shooting the role of a U.S. speaker of the house who chokes to death on a cookie. Director David O. Russell asked him to cough as he choked, but Caan argued that the character couldn't cough and choke to death at the same time.

Seriously?

Of course, I really only picked James Caan as today's moron of the day so I had an excuse to put this on my blog:

Actually, according to the First Aid I was taught, James Caan is correct. You're not choking to death if you're coughing. Coughing implies you can still breathe, just in obstructed fashion so that the cough is an attempt to expel the obstruction. I was taught not to use the Heimlich maneuver if the victim is coughing.

Like I said, he may be correct. It is beside the point. If you are getting paid to be in a movie and the director wants the choking man to make noise, you make noise.

And honestly, I just wanted to put Kirk's head-splodey moment on my site.

I mean, that's classic shit right there.
